Skill-Based Learning
Tutoring is more than homework help. SHINE tutors are equipped with the skills to help students discover their fullest potential. Tutoring sessions are based on skills outlined in the Common Core Standards and nationwide eligible content areas of focus.
Student Centered and Paced
Tutoring sessions are centered around the student, and addressing those needs in a clear and succinct manner. The goal is for students to feel more confident to tackle challenging course work without being prompted. Students are shown methods on how to anticipate challenges in academics and rise to the occasion with ease.
